What is the main symptom?

No water in one zone

  • Confirm the water supply and controller output.
  • Check whether the valve opens manually.
  • Inspect wiring, solenoid, flow control, and downstream blockage.
  • Use the zone-not-turning-on guide.

Weak flow or dry areas

  • Weak everywhere: clean the filter; check the valve, regulator, and supply.
  • Weak only at the end: flush the lateral; check line length and total emitter flow.
  • One dry point: inspect or replace the local emitter.

Water will not stop

  • Turn off the irrigation supply if water is being wasted or causing damage.
  • Check the controller, then debris in the valve and damage to the diaphragm or solenoid.

Emitters keep clogging

  • Clean the filter and flush line ends.
  • Identify physical debris, biological growth, or mineral scale.
  • Use the filtration specified by the emitter manufacturer.

Leaks or fittings popping off

  • Shut off the zone.
  • Check for excessive pressure and a missing or incorrect regulator.
  • Cut out damaged tubing and reconnect with compatible fittings.

Before you buy anything

Record where the symptom starts, whether it affects one zone or all zones, and what changes when other water outlets are closed. This usually narrows the fault to supply, control, regulation, distribution, or the final emitter.
